3D Indie Film Expo 2008 was a roaring success. Greatest thanks to our amazing panelists for their discussion of the fututre of Desktop 3D. Also a wonderful 3D production demonstration by Paul Taylor. His description of convergence has been one of the best I've heard. We are very much looking forward to 3DIFE '09 [part of the Paso Robles Digital Film Fest - slated for Oct 29-Nov 2, 2009] and are excited to expand the technical exposition portion of the festival. Please check back for updates as we get closer!

The Tipsy Gypsies are a Gypsy Jazz Quartet consisting of Guitar players Toan Chau and Forrestt Williams, and features Double Bassist Matt Reeder. What started as an informal jam session between the two guitar players, both professional musicians, the Tipsy Gypsies slowly evolved and finally found their sound. They could be described as sounding similar to Django Reinhardt but with a California edge. The easily accessible, old timey sonic texture they have created is spiced up with some modern influences, giving them a style that is both classic and unique all at once. www.thetipsygypsies.com www.thetipsygypsies.com
